Villa Del Mar is a sophisticated and elegantly furnished 1.8-acre hideaway nestled in the mountainside of the prestigious Belmont Estates. Located on Tortola’s West End, Belmont Estates is an exclusive enclave which is home to the most desirable luxury villas/properties within the British Virgin Islands. Our views span a 250 degree horizon, spectacular sunsets in the winter, and sky melting sunrises in the summer. With the beach no more than a 5 minute walk down the hill, the soft pulses of Caribbean Sea surf can be heard at all times.
Villa Del Mar is structured as three different pavilions; The open-air exterior spaces flow seamlessly into the interiors of the pavilions. Along with the natural tropical charm, Villa Del Mar has been outfitted with extremely fast Wi-Fi throughout just about 100% of the property, each room has its own high definition flat screen with DishTV service. With the best of both worlds, you’ll be sure to not miss a beat, but if silencing technology and solitude and seclusion is your desire, than my quiet, private villa is for you!
About Rooms
The villa is available as the entire property, that being all 5 bedrooms/5 bathrooms. Or as a 4 bedroom/4 bath, or 3 bedroom/3 bath. We also have 2 studio spaces we can offer separatley or together, both offering their own private bathroom, kitchenette, flat-screen TV, and exterior lounging space.
Amenities
Fully equipped kitchen with place settings for 10. Coffee machines, blenders, toasters, microwave, we have it all, except a dishwasher (water is used wisely in the BVI, making dishwashers scarce here!)
The entire property maintains fantastic Wi-Fi coverage! If you've traveled much in the Caribbean, you'll know that finding strong Wi-Fi is nearly impossible .
The villa consists of 3 pavilions, all interconnected via exterior patios/overhangs. With 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms in the 2 eastern pavilions (fully air-conditioned) and kitchen/living room occupy the remaining pavilion.
Housekeeping, whether daily or weekly, is available upon request. If daily housekeeping is needed, request need be made 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Our pool is perched 50 feet above the ground and floats among the tree tops. A long sitting bench & steps lead you into the pool. The floating sun deck adjacent to the pool is amazing!
The villa is situated 150 meters up the hill from Palm Grove, which is a gorgeous private white sand beach, where an old coconut plantation meets the sea. Smugglers Cove is just around the point, and is a world renowned, prized beach!
